Hyperhidrosis

Severe underarm sweating is a medical condition known as severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis, which involves overactive sweat glands. Hyperhidrosis can also affect the hands and feet. Sweat is your body's temperature regulator. In severe primary hyperhidrosis, sweating significantly exceeds the body's normal requirements for cooling. In this condition, sweating can occur without any reason, and it is common to ruin clothing from excessive sweating even in cool temperatures and can be very socially distressing. Excessive body sweating needs medical evaluation before treatment begins. The injection of Botox®Therapeutic is very helpful in controlling this condition. Prescription antiperspirants or iontopheresis may help in milder cases.
